Personal Information: Dr. Bales joined HEAR Services and East Tennessee Ear, Nose and Throat Specialists, PC in 2002. She was fortunate to have a variety of experiences during her Clinical Fellowship Year in Columbia, TN. Since it is a relatively small community, she was able to work with infants, school-age and elderly populations in treating vertigo, testing for hearing loss and fitting hearing aids. During this Fellowship, she married her husband, Jeff, and moved back to Knoxville. They have a two-year old daughter, Emmie, and are involved with their church, Fellowship Bible Church Knoxville. Dr. Bales enjoys traveling, reading and creative projects. Her favorite part of her career is working in a team to improve the quality of life and the relationships of patients with their loved ones. Dr. Bales is licensed to practice audiology and dispense hearing aids in the state of Tennessee, and sees patients in the Oak Ridge office all day Monday through Wednesday and in the LaFollette office on Thursdays.

Philosophy of Care: To provide education and guidance while caring for an individual’s audiological needs.
